Pella Windows

Never again will I deal with Pella. I spent close to $9k on windows and a motorized blind for a skylight. Everything with a lifetime warranty. The motor went kaput while still under warranty. Pella wanted $500 to replace the motor. Asked if they could add a rod and a pole to control the blind manually, I was told they no longer make that kind of blind. Called Pella a dozen times to get some kind of remedy. Talked to a guy named Bryan who promised to get back to me. Four follow-up calls later, since he didn't return my calls, I was told he no longer works for Pella. Then, I spoke with a woman who gave me the same "I'll get back with you" line. She didn't bother to return five of my calls. Finally, I decided enough is enough, I'll stop getting my blood preasure up and stop calling Pella, which, am sure, is what they wanted. For a big company they sure have a hell of a problem with customer service. Maybe this blog will get their attention. Am counting on it.
